Use-Case

Right now (Early 2021), MultiVAC chain has opened support for EVM-like Smart Contracts. However, there is no legible method for end-users to verify the contracts, unable to trust the legitimacy of any contracts. This makes it hard to know if a Smart Contract is actually what it claims to be. During its infancy, its imperative for users who look for Decentralized opportunities to be able to verify the Source Code of Contracts they interact with in absence of a function explorer with contract source veridi.

MTV.guru has a solution.

Methodology

We take in source codes & EVM compiler specs from the contract creator and verify it against the results of our compilation of the source against its respective copiler configuration. If the generated input data from our test matches the one used to create the contract on MultiVAC, then its safe to say that the contract source is exactly the same. Despite its laborous and manual nature, we undertake this task to provide our ftm.guru users, who come from Fantom Opera to MultiVAC, a level of confidence required for investing into this young ecosystem.

Although we make our best efforts, our users must know that contracts might have their own special functions that could harm users, for example a farm, vault or token creator increasing transfer fees to 100%. We make our best effort to highlight these with a short review of the code wherever requested. The Source code of all the Contracts presented here is made visible publicly in its complete entirety, available for all to critic.
